New Workshop - 'Products Of Photography' - Shift School Of Photography - Dresden 13th -15th March

Very excited to announce that I will be taking part in a new workshop at the wonderful Shift School of Photography in Dresden, Germany entitled, "Products Of Photography - From Images To Ingenious Products." The workshop brings together 6 lecturers working across a range of disciplines, from Artist, Curator to Video and Publisher, focusing on how in the age of the image you can produce something different, whether that be a film, book, exhibition of something entirely new! The Workshop will run from 13th to the 15th March 2015.

I am very excited to say that I will be working with some wonderful lecturers including the founder of the school itself, Kristin Dittrich, with Andreas Ullich, Katharina Duve, my very own designers, Arthur Herrman from Kummer & Herrman as well as my publisher and very good friend Roger Eberhard from b.frank books!

There are very limited places, and it is sure to be an exciting and very inspirational weekend, to find out more and book your place, visit the school link below.

Somatotopic Organisation Of Emotions Study

As the weeks fly by, this year is already shaping up to be quite an exciting one, with many adventures, investigations and experiments taking place! As my research continues for my new series, I have been partaking in some very interactive experiments at City University under the watchful eye and one of the study organisers, the wonderful Dr Alex Sel.

The latest study was the Somatotopic organisation of emotions and its cortical dynamics. Wearing an Electroeneohalogram cap (EEG) I was asked to sit in a electronically shielded area and look at a computer screen, of which a series of small faces were presented on a black background. At the same time I felt small taps on my finger and toe. It was an ever inspirational 2 hours and I always feel so humbled to be part of such studies. More to come soon...
